LOVE AND RELATIONSHIP ANGLE

The list below and many others not mentioned here are some of the strange things we do hiding under the cover of "Culture ".

1. We care more for the dead than we do for the living!

2. We spend more to bury a person than we do to try to save that life.

3. We will not travel to go see a sick relative but to bury him /her.

4. People will rarely respect you while alive but will want to "pay their last respects" to your dead body.

5. A person may NEVER receive roses in their entire life but they will get lots dumped on their graveyard!

6. We will spend a night at a neighbour's funeral and it will be our first time to see the inside of their house!

7. No one gives a damn to know your village until you die and they will all fill car after car to "escort you" when you are dead.

8. We will take the dead to the temple while when he was still alive he didn't have anything to do with worship.

9. We might not have granite tops in our kitchens but use the granite in the graveyard!

10. An entire village might not have a single house with cement floors but the only place cement will surely be used will be a graveyard!

I propose we have "Culture Reforms". We have a culture of "hypocrisy"... a culture that is "Pro-death" and NOT "Pro-life!" We need to value life BEFORE death.

1.When you are alone, mind your thoughts.

2.when you are with friends, mind your tongue.

3.When you are Angry, mind your temper.

4.when you are with a group, mind your Behaviour.

5.When you are in trouble, mind your emotions.

6.When God starts blessing you, mind your ego.

1. What makes a marriage wrong is when you marry the person whom both of you don't agree on both major and minor issues (Amos 3:3).

2. There are no perfect marriages or perfect partners, marriage is the union of two imperfect people but are suitable for one another.

3. Marriage doesn't work when two wrongs enter into the union. If both demands their way, the relationship would give way due to their irreconcilable differences.

4. That a man or woman seems right now doesn't mean they'll be right for you in the future. Don't marry for the now but look into the future.

5. Why do I lay much emphasis on waiting on God to choose right? It's like climbing the rung of a ladder to see what He wants you to see and while the journey continues, you can go back to Him in case you experience any issue that may seem to be beyond your control.

6. You can't leave God out of your decision on whom to marry and get it right. It's better you pay the price to get Him involved now than to pay the price to have Him fix a wrong marriage.

7. One major saving tips on avoiding a wrong marriage is this: "Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what He wants, and He will help you go the right way" - (Proverbs 3:5-6, ERV).

8. The foundation of a wrong marriage is built on lies, deceit, premarital sex, immoralities, falsehood and on mundane things. If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

9. Don't rush into marriage, rushing cannot help you to know the right person. Don't make the decision on whom to marry when you're too young, your choice will be based on flimsy things and being immature can't help you to handle the demands of a marriage relationship.

10. Acting on pressure, desperation or impatience are not good reasons to getting married. Find a solution to all of these rather than use marriage to solve them.

11. Marrying an unbeliever is a wrong marriage, there’s no how you can make it work that it would ever succeed or become the kind of home God intended.

12. The foundation of your coming together and courtship determines the success of your marriage. Don't go into marriage because of money, sex, peer pressure, loneliness, material things, pleasure but on a conviction and confirmation that intended but of you to be together.

13. If your reasons for going into marriage isn't strong enough and both of you are committed to making it work, a day will come when you'd find a reason to call it quit.

14. "If you find a wife (spouse), you have found something good. She shows that the Lord is happy with you" - (Proverbs 18:22, ERV). Depend on God to find a wife rather than lean on your understanding to find a partner.

15. If you want God to guide you on whom to marry, be ready to pay the price (patience, prayer, perseverance) and don't lean on your own understanding (dating, cohabiting, catching them young etc).

16. It takes patience to marry right and it takes patience to have a great marriage. Impatience is one of the reasons why people enter into the wrong marriage.

17. There's no marriage made in heaven but there's a match designed in heaven. It takes two God chasers to locate themselves and build a heaven on earth marriage.

18. Married to a wrong partner leads to a wrong marriage. A wrong step into marriage leads to a wrong marriage and all these would affect your purpose in life and your unborn generation.

19. Pay the price to find and marry the right partner that's suitable for your life rather than struggle to make the wrong partner the right one in a wrong marriage.

20. That others got it wrong in marriage doesn't mean yours will be like that. Get the terms right with God and He'll make His way straight before your face.

21. Not everyone with the look of a potential partner that comes into your life will be the right one. Let God guide you so that you don't marry the wrong person.

22. Your education, exposure or experience cannot help you to know who's right for you. The best you can know is to have someone who's good for you but may not be suitable in the future. Rely on God!

23. A man or woman is a wrong partner, not because they're not beautiful/handsome, rich, caring, submissive/respectful but because they're not suitable for your life and destiny.
.
24. You can have a good wife or husband but when you fail to leave and cleave to your partner, your marriage will never work.

Last but not the least....
25. Don't believe the false philosophy that God doesn't guide people into marrying right. He does. He's still doing it. And He can do it for you if you can pay the price.

You will not marry your enemy in Jesus name

1. Until you take time to study and unravel the mysteries surrounding a thing, you may end up hating what is very sweet and pleasant; and loving what ought to be hated.....

2. While some are running away from relationships due to shallow knowledge, many are enjoying theirs.......

3. The more you know about a thing, the less likely you will make a mistake about it.....

4. The task of asking questions saves a lot than thinking you know and making costly mistakes.....

5. Who doesn't have a weak point? Getting angry when your weak points are pointed shows you are not ready to grow....when your weak points are listed, it gives you the opportunity to improve and get better....

6. If you hate your job, your family, your life....you will never be happy...

7. Greater results will be recorded if you enter every action with knowledge and enthusiasm....Because while knowledge is POWER, Enthusiasm is the SWITCH that brings up the light....

8. Complaining to people who don't have your answers may compound your woes....it is better to keep quiet than to complain to the wrong person....

9. You don't need everyone in your life....the wrong ones will take you back, you need those who are heading your way. There is no harm in dropping the wrong people, but there is an error in dropping the right ones, you may be stranded....

10. Be positive, don’t give up before your miracle comes. Patience means, wait, it will get better….Endurance means get used to it, it will remain like this.

Know when you have to be patient and when you have to endure….

Heavy rains remind us of challenges in life.  Never ask for a lighter rain, just pray to God for a better umbrella. That is the attitude!
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship. It's not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end.
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them; a Wall or a Bridge? - Remember you are the architect of your life.
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
Search for a good heart, but don't search for a beautiful face, because beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful.
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
It’s not important to hold all the good cards in life, but it’s important how well you play with the cards you hold.
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, remember God and pray, it’s just a bend, not the end.
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
Have faith and have a successful life. One of the basic differences between God and humans is, God gives, gives and forgives. But the human gets, gets, gets and forgets. Be thankful in life...
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
If u think it is your alarm clock that woke you up this morning, try putting it beside a dead body and you will realise that it is the Grace of God that woke you up.
💚➖➖➖➖➖➖
If you are grateful to God, forward this to all your friends to inform them that it is JUST BY THE GRACE OF God that we are alive... God bless you.

Don't complicate life. We won't be here forever. Once this day is over, it's gone forever. Your time is too valuable to waste on nonsense.

No matter what knocks you down in life, get back up and keep going.
Never give up. Great blessings are a result of great perseverance.

Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit.
Talk about your joys.

Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient, and the best things come to those who don't give up.

Do not pray for an easy life; pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.

Disappointments were not meant to destroy you. They were meant to strengthen you & give you fortitude to accomplish your God-given destiny.

We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but of appreciating what we do have.

Regrets are for pussies. Shit happens, deal with it and just enjoy the ride.

Your child will follow your example, not your advice.

One day, you'll be just a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one.

Associate yourself with people of good quality, for it is better to be alone than in bad company.

Don't fear change. You may lose something good, but you may also gain something great.

When you love what you have, you have everything you need.

The greatest act of faith some days is to simply get up and face another day.

Never let the things you want make you forget the things you have. GRATITUDE.

Commitment means staying loyal to what you said you were going to do, long after the mood you said it in has left you. COMMITMENT

When you choose to forgive those who have hurt you, you take away their power.

Patience is not the ability to wait, but how you act while you're waiting.

Isn't it ironic:
- We ignore the ones that adore us
- Adore the ones who ignore us
- Love the ones who hurt us
- Hurt the ones that love us

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Every story has an end, but in life every end is just a new beginning.

You were born to win, although to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, & expect to win.

Every day is a NEW beginning, take a deep breath and START AGAIN.

Don't compare your progress with that of others. We all need our own time to travel our own distance.

Surround yourself only with people who are going to lift you higher.

Bad things happen:
- Every day.
-To everyone.
The difference is in how people deal with it.

When you make a commitment, you build hope. When you keep it, you build trust.

Two things define you: Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.

Being honest may not get you a lot of FRIENDS but it'll always get you the RIGHT ONES.

Shoutout to everyone trying to get their life together. Working on yourself is the hardest part of life. Keep going, no matter where you are.

Be selective in your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right.

Keep people in your life who truly love you, motivate you, and make you happy. If you know people who do none of these things, let them go.

Be happy not because everything is good, but because you can see the good side of everything. OPTIMISM

Surround yourself with positive people who will support you when it rains, not just when it shines.

Being defeated is often a temporary condition; giving up is what makes it permanent.

Recall the pics of a young man, who died on Sunday morning at Onigbongbo Bus-stop, Maryland that went viral on social media.

Scenario 1:
The story behind the pix of the dead man goes thus...
A Danfo bus brushed his car and this man left his car, removed his shoes and ran after the Danfo. As he tried to hold on to the bus, the conductor pushed him away and another Danfo bus coming behind hit and ran over him on his head and that was the end.

Now, let us relate the above incident to the 2 scenarios below:

Scenario 2:
A man and a woman were involved in an accident at the ever busy traffic hold up at Maryland by St. Agnes Church, which led to a road rage. The woman rammed into the man's car without intention & unknowingly in a rush to beat the traffic lights.

In a shocking reaction to the disgust of everyone at the scene, the man came out of his car, opened his booth to bring out his wheel spanner and broke the head lamps of the woman's car.

Surprisingly, the woman did not come out of her car, allowed the man in utter rage to satisfy himself and drove off. While it would have cost N100,000 for the woman to replace the head lamps,  the fact remains that  she left the scene intact and still remains alive.

Scenario 3:
In a bid to avoid knocking down an Okada rider, who drove against the traffic, a driver in a clearly marked bank vehicle rammed his car into a stationary vehicle.

He came out of his car and engaged the Okada rider in hot argument, both raining curses on each other. Unknown to him, the Okada rider was armed with a knife, with which he stabbed the bank driver to death and rode away. Regrettably, the driver died from the incident and his family now mourns.

Advice:
There is so much Anger in the land at this point in time and there's need for all of us to exercise restraint. As far as possible avoid arguments with strangers and If it ever happens, don't allow it to degenerate into a scuffle or violent exchange. As quickly as possible, leave the scene.

There's too much mental trauma and lawlessness in the country right now and it would require a gigantic effort on reorientation of the citizenry, if ever we are to get out of the woods.

Suffice to say that the law enforcement administration in Nigeria remains relatively  weak to bring all criminals to justice. Moreover, no level of justice can bring back to life a dead person ...

Always remember that your loved ones still needs you.

Inside a church in Zaire, a Pastor has flipped a verse of the Bible to accommodate polygamy. Consulted by a Business Millionaire, the Senior Pastor ransacked the Bible and finally arrived at a verse to support the "Holy Matrimony".
Quoting Isaiah 4:1, the Pastor joined the notable influential member with three women. The verse says: "And in that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, we will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach."
Endtime is finally here!!!

What kind of messages would this Preacher be preaching to his members? God help us!

No wonder more folks are dying everyday from cancer than ever before. We wonder where this stuff comes from, but here is an example that explains a lot of the cancer-causing incidents.

Many people are in their cars first thing in the morning and the last thing at night, seven days a week. As I am writing this piece, it makes me feel guilty and ill, wondering why one must die ignorantly.

Please pass this on to as many people as possible. Guess it's not too late to make some changes.

THE MESSAGE;
Please do NOT turn on A/C as soon as you enter your car. Make sure you open all the windows after you enter your car and turn ON the AC after a couple of minutes later.

HERE IS WHY;

According to research, the car dashboard, sofa and air freshener emit BENZENE  a cancer-causing toxin (Carcinogen) .

Take time to observe the smell of heated plastic in your car,  this smell In addition is causing cancer.
Benzene poisons your bones, causes anaemia and reduces white blood cells.

Prolonged exposure will cause leukaemia, increasing the risk of cancer. It can also cause miscarriage. Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq ft.

A car parked indoors with windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene. If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level.

People who get into the car keeping windows closed will inevitably inhale, in quick succession, excessive amounts of the toxin.

Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidney and liver. What's worse, it is extremely difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff.

So friends, please open the windows and door of your car - give time for the interior air to dispel the deadly stuff - before you enter.
