Many people have clouded their minds to believe that good things don't exist. Sometimes I don't understand their reason - whether they're unhappy and as that wish that for everyone. Some can't just wish others well or accept that good things happen.

It's so sad. These kind of people are so embittered about the happiness of others and are quick to pass negative words and judgments.  They are always the first to comment when there is something negative on your wall or they make sarcastic remarks to ridicule one. But when you post good things, they will pretend as if they don't see it

Sometimes ago, I had to block some envious and bitter people among my facebook friends!

Anyone who is truly born again will never wish other people evil and will not be envious and bitter

Out of the abundance of the hearth; the mouth speak. Most people only know evil and see evil.

You cant give what you don't you have. So most people has been trained to see the bad side of lives; their perspectives of lives is corrupt and envious...... I guess that was the reason they don't appreciate good things. When such people see people making it or succeeding, they are full of suspicion. This is pure Witchcraft.

There's something i need to understand here;

*A celebrity gets married and posts the wedding pictures and some people already saying that 'The Marriage will not last'

*A couple shared pictures where they are kissing/showing affection to each other and some people start saying 'All these people showing Love on Facebook are covering up their troubles'

*Someone posts a message on righteousness and then some poor souls go to their wall and post 'Forget about all these Facebook righteous people,They are all evil in real life'
How do you know all these?

So many people are so bitter in life that they can't even cover it up.How can you sit there and wishing a newly wedded couple failure? How do you know that the man kissing his wife in that picture didn't love her truly? How do you know that the poster is evil? These are early signs of witchcraft and people hide behind free speech but in reality their miserable lives are speaking.

When you see a loving couple publicly,Let them be and STOP making wretched updates to mock them. If they are fighting at home and showing Love on Facebook,That's none of your business.Especially those of you Single guys that have this satanic ministry of spying on married people so you can find something to write and score some cheap points on Facebook,Some of them are already married and some had kids at your age,So you see what i mean? Your energy should be more useful elsewhere.

I take people by their word unless i have genuine reason[s]to think otherwise.If the woman posts lovely pictures of her great marriage,I believe her. As a matter of fact only the brave and great people can see beyond their troubles and smile through it while Cowards show off their worries to everyone.

Everyone have their life to live,Some don't like showing off,It doesn't make them better than those that show off their spouse[s]Some Love showing off,It doesn't make them any better than those that keep their spouse[s]out of their updates.
That's life and we have to respect everyone's choice rather than making ridiculous comments about people you know nothing about.

One of the greatest headaches of many young ladies in relationship is the issue of sex. While they find themselves entangled in love, they also would not want to offend God by fornicating.

Meanwhile, most young men of today are always demanding sex before marriage as a proof of love. If a lady denies her boyfriend (fiance) sex, he tends to think she either does not love him or she is seeing another guy. And this throws the lady into so much confusion. She genuinely loves the guy but wouldn't want to give in to sex. If she denies him, she may lose him and if she gives in too she disobeys God. Sorry to our ladies.

Gentleman, please know that it is absolutely a lie from the pit of hell that if your fiancee does not give you sex it shows she doesn't love you. How can you use sex as a "LOVEOMETRE"? Have you never slept with ladies you didn't truly love? If you haven't then let me tell you that many people are having sex with people they never love. And the men are themselves the worst culprits.

If sex is a proof of love then we have to conclude that prostitutes love all the men they sleep with.
If sex is a proof of love then we have to go about sleeping with our best friends and even family members to show how deeply we love them.
Even married couples, do not have sex to prove their love. They rather have sex because sex is part of marriage and it is meant for both
procreation and recreation - child birth and enjoyment. Don't you know that there are married couples who are not genuinely in love but they still have sex as a matter of duty or just forcover-ups?

Surely, sex plays a major role in love affairs. But Eccl 3:1 says, "For everything there is a season..." It is never the right season to have sex in a relationship. This is because sex is a blood covenant between husband and wife not boyfriend and girlfriend. Gen. 4:1 says, "Adam knew his wife". It does not say "Adam knew his girlfriend".
Stop going that far with the lady. If you want to know about a woman's love for you sex is never the answer. Leave her alone to serve God right for your own sake if you truly want to marry her.

Song of Songs 2:7 says, "I charge you, O
daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelle...that you AWAKEN NOT LOVE UNTIL IT IS TIME".
The gazelle is a very swift animal. It runs at least 96 km per hour. Bible compares romance to the gazelle. If you start romance at the wrong time you may crush because you will not be able to stop it from ruining your life at top speed. So until you are married, don't AWAKEN LOVE. Sex has been the main reason for most broken hearts and disappointments.

Sex is called love-making because it involves the body, soul and spirit. Do you want your soul and spirit to be tied to somebody who is not married to you? Can you stand the consequences, Mr. Young Man?

Christian life. The funny thing is that it is the Brothers in Christ who are always worrying the sisters in Christ for sex. You are a son of God so don't waste your energy on women. You should rather be teaching her chastity and help her serve God well.

Seeking love from sex is like looking for Jesus in an empty tomb. Take it easy. When you marry you will be fed up with sex. Your wife will be chasing you with it and you will be running away, saying, "Oh I'm tired, why?". Take time okay, there is more sleep after death. How many rounds do you want? Wait patiently. It will soon be laid at your doorstep and you will notice how stupid it is to chase sex when you are not married.

If you want a woman to prove her love to you, allow her some space to be herself. Do not force your will on her or control her. Her love, by nature, will push her to do things that will signal to you that you are her top priority. She will be ready to marry you, than just have fun with you.

So from today, even if she herself brings sex, tell her..."Do not awaken love until it is time." And if you guys love each other, plan about marrying and submit your plans to God......our ladies are dying  in the hands of some men all in the name of love.

An Ikeja magistrate’s Court, weekend, sentenced a 37-year-old man, Ibrahim Abu, to six months imprisonment for touching the breast of a 17-year-old girl (names withheld) without her consent.

Abu, who lives at 6, Mosque Close, Isheri-Olofin, Lagos State, was arraigned before Magistrate Osusanmi and sentenced last Friday for sexually assaulting the girl Monday last week.

Vanguard gathered that the girl was asked by her parents to learn hairdressing, while awaiting the release of her Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, SSCE, result.

It was learned that at 7:30p.m. last week Monday, while she was returning home, Abu accosted the victim at Baale Bus Stop Akowonjo, and touched her breast without seeking her consent.

It was gathered that in retaliation, she slapped Abu and he hit her with a plank; she reportedly fell, became unconscious and was rushed to a hospital.

Abu was later arrested by policemen attached to Shasha Police Station and the case reported to Domestic, Sexual Violence Response Team, DSVRT.

Delivering her judgment, Osusanmi said the offence contravened Section 135 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2011.

Reacting over the judgement, Coordinator of DSVRT, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, said: “While we are pleased with this conviction, this case depicts the current height of impunity with which abusers act.

“The success of this conviction can be linked to DSVRT’s early engagement with the concerned victim and collaboration with the police, who despite the pleas and pressures from members of the society, ensured that the case was charged to court.

“The role of the society in encouraging victims to speak out, protect victims and encourage justice is now crucial more than ever.”

But most importantly, help him on your knees. Help him approach heaven from your own end.
Are you thinking that is much work? actually, the benefit is more of yours than his.

My cousin and her boyfriend dated for 3yrs, but she was in the university so she wanted to get done with school and be called to the nigerian bar before she tied the knots. However in her 500L few months before she graduated she started noticing strange attitudes with her ex.


A month before going to law school she begged her ex to open up to her if he was seeing someone else and he admitted that he was getting tired of waiting. She asked him if he loved the girl and he said yes. She inquired further who the girl was and he mentioned her name. He was getting married to the girl that he was dating before him and my cousin started going out.
She has been broken for more than 5 months and when she came back from law school, her ex told her he couldn't stop thinking about her. She just returned for her court attachment and she was informed by her ex that he's getting...

My cousin is devastated, she has cried and i've told her to be strong,if she can attend the wedding then she should, else she should stay at home.

It was about eight o’clock when her son who was asthmatic developed some complications. He had to be rushed to the nearest hospital about 1km away or else it would be fatal. She called a neighbor who had a car but the neighbor said the car had no fuel; she called the pastor who said he had visiting pastors from USA and could not leave them alone.

The crazy Unclad man could understand perfectly well what she meant since he saw the desperate boy struggling for breath. He put him on the shoulder and told the woman “all will be well” as he ran towards the hospital. The doctors on seeing the crazy man knew something was really wrong, they attended to the boy immediately. Ten minutes later the mother arrived and the doctor broke the news “if he was brought five minutes later, he would have died” .

Lesson:
God doesn’t have to use Bishops, Pastors, family, politicians & rich people with cars to rescue or bless you. No matter what may come your way, no matter what you are going through, your life is in His hands & He has good thoughts for you. I know you will make it.
For there is a friend in God who will wipe away your tears. But First you must confess Him ( Christ) as your Lord and Saviour. John 14 vs 6 New Living Translation, Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. Now u know how to make Christ your friend and helper. To surrender : confess this" Lord I acknowledge you as God almighty, the one who died through Christ for my sins, I repent of my wrongs and I ask you to come into my life, lead me henceforth and help me serve you in spirit and truth, this I ask in Jesus Mighty Name.amen

 ●Don’t shout at your wife when you are talking. It really hurts her. (Proverbs 15:1)

●Never use money to manipulate or control her. All your money belongs to her. She is a joint heir with you of the grace of God. (1 Pet. 3:7)
●Do not expose her weakness. You will be exposing yourself too. Be a shield around her. (Eph. 5:30)

 It makes a man want to spend the rest of his life with you.
So Work on your character.

Men usually love a woman who feed them with good food because one of the easiest way to a man’s heart is through good food.

1. Never Go Into A relationship Until You Know Where You Are Going In Life. Discover your purpose for living! Purpose comes before a relationship. So any man who has not discovered his purpose is not fit for marriage. You must have a purpose to pursue in life before thinking of a relationship. Who are you? Where are you going? What do you have to offer? What can you die for? What is your assignment on earth? You were born to solve a problem. Discover it! Your prosperity lies in your purpose. Your purpose is your ministry. It is your calling. Your purpose is your destiny. There is no destiny without a purpose. Your purpose should guide you on the choice of a marriage partner.

2. Never Propose To A Lady If You Are Not Sure Of God’s Leading.

A pastor was attracted to a committed sister in a church and married her. Only for him to discover after their wedding that she was sent to destroy his life and ministry. Be sure you are convinced by the Holy Spirit before making your intention known to a sister no matter how committed she is to her church or fellowship. PRAY! Since God is the author of marriage, it is very important to consult Him before choosing a life partner. Your physical eyes cannot see beyond the physical appearance (Container). It is only God that sees the heart of someone (Content). So let God guide you so that you won’t fall into trouble. Proverbs 3:5-7

3. If You Can’t Control Your Anger, You Have No Business Going Into A Relationship/Marriage. I’ve seen men that beat their women like babies. I’ve seen and read about men that killed their wives out of anger. Anger is destructive. Anger is one word short of danger. No wonder the Bible says “Make no friendship with an angry man”. Proverbs 22:24.  Anger is a killer and a destroyer. An angry person is a potential killer. Ask for the spirit of patience, be considerate and accommodating. Wife battery, separation and divorce, can be traced to anger. Anger is one of the potent weapons of the devil against marriage. So work on your anger.

4. Never Double Date.
Being in two relationships at the same time is an act of unfaithfulness and indecision. It lowers your integrity and lays a wrong foundation for your marriage. Any single man who double-dates, is a polygamist in the making.  Double daters are unreliable and unstable. They are players, gamblers and heartbreakers. If you have the spirit of double dating, open up now and let all the group member deliver tonight.  You need deliverance. "A double minded person is unstable in all His ways "

5. Never Insist You Must Have Sex With A Woman Before Marriage.

Sleeping with a girl that has not been handed over to you in marriage is robbery. A real man who truly loves his fiancée will not unbutton her blouse and pull her skirt until wedding night. Run away from premarital sex before it destroys your life. Let holiness and the fear of God prevail in your courtship as children of God. Discipline yourself. If you are not disciplined, you are not fit to be a disciple of Christ.  Many singles have jeopardized the hope of a glorious future by falling into sexual sins.  Don’t join them.

6. Never Insist Your Intending Spouse Should Be Pregnant For You Before Marriage.

No marriage, No pregnancy. Only two people are expected to be joined together on a wedding day, the bride and the groom. Any idea to become pregnant before marriage is unscriptural. Avoid anything that will stain your marital glory. Any idea that is against the biblical standard is bound to fail. Never allow any bad seed to be sown in the foundation of your marriage. Stick to the biblical counsel to stay away from sex before marriage. Obey God’s word and divine backing on your marriage.

7. Don’t Pretend To Be Who You Are Not And Claim To Have What You Lack.

Love cannot be built on a foundation of falsehood. Anyone that is not faithful is unreliable and not fit for marriage. Liars don’t make good husbands. A true relationship is when you can tell each other the truth. No secrets and no lies. You don’t need to lie in order to win the heart of your partner. If she really loves you, she will accept you for who you are. Don't tell a woman you have Bsc while you only have primary school certificate. A lady left her fiancé last week because of this lie.  He lied he had Bsc in Criminology but he only have Secondary School Cert. Lolz. You must be open, sincere, honest plain and transparent without any form of hypocrisy, hidden agenda or deception.

8. Learn To Give.

If you are not a giver, you are not a lover. Stinginess is not holiness. The proof of love is sacrificial giving and nothing can be too small or too big, if it comes from a sincere and generous heart. Getting married to a stingy person is one of the greatest mistakes a lady can make. No reasonable lady will want to marry a brother who is extremely stingy unless she wants to be a second wife to hunger and frustration. There is no point asking a woman to come into your life when you are stingy. Learn to give in Jesus name.

9. Don’t Be Lazy.

There are married men who sit at home, read newspaper, watch tv, eat, have sex and sleep while their wives go out to find money. Such men are disgrace to humanity. Laziness is a sin! If nobody employs you, employ yourself. The Bible disapproves of laziness. If you have the habit of sleeping all day, watching television all night and refuse to produce anything significant with your life, you have no business with a relationship. If we have married men whose wives feed in this group, stop eating and starting fasting from tomorrow. Go out and get something doing Men! Laziness is one of the quickest ways to poverty. A man must not have a lazy attitude to work. You must be diligent. Get involved in business that will yield money. Be financially responsible.

10.  Never Go Into A Relationship Until You Know What Love Means.

You must learn how to express your love to a woman. You must care and treat a woman like a queen. Love is not kissing and romancing. Love is not pre-marital sex. Love is a total commitment to the well-being of someone you love. You must be ready to commit your life to helping her grow and become all that she can be. A woman needs much more than ‘I love you,’ she needs your commitment.
You must create time to be with her, call her, send her text messages and learn to treat her with respect. Protect her. Celebrate her. Be kind to her and never rebuke her in public. Don’t raise your voices on each other. Learn to say ‘I am sorry’ when you offend her.

11. Never Propose To A sister If You Do Not Intend To Get Married In The Next One Year. Life is too short to be wasted on a relationship without prospects. Avoid long courtships and do not make it too short either, as both can be dangerous. Courtships should not be less than six months and should not go for more than one or two years. No matter how long you court your fiancée, you can never fully know and understand everything about her until you both get married and live together

12. Never Fail To Give Your Life To Christ Before Going Into A Relationship.

The First Thing You Need Before Dreaming About Love Is JESUS! It is an error to seek first a relationship before seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. The best day of your life is when you give your life to God. Not when you find love. If you must have a marriage without sorrow, you need God. A Marriage Without Christ Is Bound To Experience Marital Crisis.

Well, I never intended to write a second part to this article, but a question came up that prompted my writing this.
My greatest passion when I write is to strike balance and ensure clarity.

The lay man's understanding of a virgin would be a girl who is unbroken, but note that it is possible to have an unbroken lady who is spoilt far more than a broken lady.

There are many unbroken women with poor character and broken women with good character. (The reverse could also be the case).
My point like I established in part1 is look for wife and not just a virgin. Don't, because you are looking for a virgin, miss a good wife.
I hope you know that a good wife can also be a virgin. I established all that already.

So this lady asked me, "HOW DO WE KNOW A WIFE?"

A woman does not become a wife because of marriage. She becomes a wife before marriage. (Prov.18:22)
Wife is not what happens when you get married, wife is what makes you get married.
Being a wife (having wifely dispositions) before becoming a wife (married) is what will attract the man faster.

Who then is a wife?

1. Weathers Storms
Women are stronger than men, than they can ever imagine.
They were created to outlast and withstand storms. Women survive easily, that which devastates men.
One heart break can kill a man compared to the multiple heartbreaks a woman walks out of still smiling.

It was Williams Golden who said that "Women must be foolish to pretend they are equal to men, they are far superior and always have been."

When you marry such a woman who is fully equipped to weather storms, you are GUARANTEED of Peace in your home.

The worst thing that can happen to any man is to marry a woman who cannot weather any storm and who is even the source of all the storms at home.

A true wife weathers every storm and ensures peace in her home! #GoodPoint!

2. Innovative:

It's been said that variety is the spice of life, but there will be no variety without innovation.

Innovation is the spice that ensures variety. A true wife is not fixed in a particular way, she is innovative, she is dynamic, she is spontaneous and she is creative.

Creativity is the secret of beauty but creativity is impossible without innovation.
A true wife avoids being boring!
~• You can't be boring with the way you dress.
~• You can't be boring with the way you cook.
~• You can't be boring with the way you arrange your sitting room and bed rooms.
~• You can't be boring with your hairstyles.
~• You can't be boring with your night gowns and even sex (only for the married)

If men are attracted by what they see, then ensure you are innovative with what you want them to see.


3. Fervent In Prayers:

Some women might want to relax, but with the level of wickedness in our time and age, prayer will help any woman, any time and any day.

A lot of things will obviously contend with your marriage and your home but prayer is your guarantee for victory.

A really attractive woman is a praying woman. A woman who is mindful of God and she is focused in pleasing Him.

4. Empathic In Disposition:

There is something called home, it is different from a house or marriage.

A wise man once said that men give a house to women and the women turn in into a home.

You can be married and have a house but not a home. You can have a marriage but a home.

A home is that safe haven where everybody desires to return. A home is that atmosphere, that environment that children even when they are all grown and married still desire to return to.

A home is an environment where love is consciously entrenched, laughter is deliberately ensured and kisses are the salutation language.

A home is however built by empathy. When a woman is not empathic, she is referred to as a wicked woman.

The Bible says that a wise woman builds her home. A home though not physical structure is built and what builds it is empathy.

A home is superior to marriage and a house because the umbrella of a home reaches to people who are not even biologically connected.

The home of Judge & Lady Adefarasin was a home that went beyond biological children to the likes of Rev. Chris Okotie and very many others.

The house helps, cooks, gardeners, gate men, stewards and drivers should be able to look up and say "thank God we have a home" BUT if a woman is not empathic, all these people who are involved with us as support systems, can never feel like that.

So an empathic disposition makes a woman really beautiful and a wife material. Ensure that people eat when they come to your house.

Conclusion:

The things I have written in my bid to answer that beautiful lady's question are few out of many other attributes that makes a woman a true wife material.

The attributes are in·ex·haust·i·ble. So keep learning and keep metarmaphosing into a real attractive marriageble woman.

Advise for singles

If you are walking down the road, with the wrong man, you are in trouble. You cannot afford to make a mistake.

Don’t get married until you have a sense of who you are.

You have to take this seriously because your life is on assignment. You are accountable to God for your life.

Your life has three parts:

1. Who you are
2. After a while, you get the added responsibility of a wife. This does not replace who you are. Your role as a wife is to help a man be the best of himself, not to diminish yourself
3. After a while, you get the added responsibility of a mother

One part does not remove the other, and it is your responsibility to work out how the three will combine together.

When you know who you are, you will know what to look out for when you are looking for a partner.

You won’t be carried away by “Rich, Tall and Handsome”, Instead you will be looking for someone who can help you to achieve what you are born to achieve.

If you marry the wrong person, and there is a mismatch, there will be a great conflict.

You owe it to yourself not to settle.

Don’t ever settle until you are comfortable that this person you want to marry has your back and will allow you to fly.

If you don’t know who you are, you can start by knowing what you don’t want, and be honest with yourself.

Don’t get carried away with the butterflies in your tummy.

When you are deciding on a man to marry:

Pick a man who is responsible and who is working hard. He may not have made it yet, but at least he is working and he has a vision.

It is not your job to give your husband-to-be a vision. You can’t change him. Make sure that he already has a personal vision of what he wants to become and is already working towards it.

Please take note of this:

The son of a rich man is not a rich boy.

He will take you out on dates in a big car. It is not his car, it’s his father’s car. He borrowed it.

His father will throw a big party for the two of you when you are getting married. This is for his own ego. The father can even pay 2 years house rent for you to impress the inlaws, and hence you might not realize that you are in trouble.

When the marriage starts, it will dawn on you that the boy you married, does not have any money.

He is always dependent on his daddy.

The day daddy does not give him money, you guys will not have money.

All the responsibilities will fall on your head, and this will cause friction in the marriage.

Be warned my daughters.

You can prevent yourself from entering trouble.

Advise for Married Women

At first when you start a business, your husband might seem supportive because he thinks it is just a business to keep you busy.

But as the business becomes successful, he gets scared.

He gets scared because he feels that you might become something else. He has heard so many stories of women who have become rich and are now terrible. He is scared that you might not be able to balance it all.

You have the power to manage this transition.

1. Don’t start what you cannot finish

Breakfast in bed
Cooking fresh food everyday

The day you become busy and you cannot make breakfast in bed, he will say you have changed and will start treating you as if you are a horrible person

2. Make your husband a stakeholder in everything you do

You must have heard people say:

Your husband’s money is your money
Your money is your money

This is bad advice

If your husband has no stake in what you do, what is his benefit? You are making money everyday and you are still asking for housekeeping. After a while, he will begin to despise you.

All this money you are making, you can’t even help out in the house.

One of the wise things you can do is to empower him.

For example, you can say, “Let me take care of the house bills, you can use your money to build us a house”

When he sees how your money is helping him, he begins to get invested in what you do; he wants you to succeed because your success takes some burden off his shoulders.

Please note: This is why you should marry a hardworking man, who will not take advantage of you because you are contributing to the homefront. If you marry a reasonable man, he won’t start spending his money on other women because you are helping out.

Money is a very sensitive topic in a marriage because it can break a home. A lot of ladies take advice from the older generation, forgetting that the generation of our mothers is not the same as our generation.

In that generation, not a lot of women were career focused.

In this generation, it is the norm for women to be career focused, and hence, the dynamics has changed, and we have to deal with that dynamic.

God knows what he was saying when he said, husband and wife are one

The two of you are one and he can bless the one through any of the halves of the one. He can bless the husband or the wife, but it does not change who is in charge.

Your husband is in charge of your home and you should never have illegal leadership because you have money

Money is nothing.
It is just a tool you can use to achieve what God has ordained for you.

Don’t allow money to control your home. If you do, you are in trouble.

When you understand this, you won’t become arrogant because you are making money.

I want you to understand this because we need to raise a critical mass of women who can be successful and use money wisely, so that men can become comfortable with successful women and it can be easier for our children to become successful

You also need to understand that your husband is facing so many things:

Pressure from inlaws
Pressure from friends

They will be telling him things about you, hence you have to be careful.

Don’t keep secrets from him, secrets breed mistrust.

If you want to invest in property, let him know what you are doing.

If you don’t trust your husband, you can keep the asset in your name or in your children’s name.

If you trust your husband, you can buy property and keep the asset in the both of you’s name.

If you have plenty cash, invest in assets immediately. If your husband knows that you are sitting on so much cash, he will ask you for it and if you don’t give it to him…trouble. You become the enemy.

Wisdom my daughters, you need wisdom.

Business Advice

What business do you want to do?
Do you even know the business?
Have you empowered yourself to make the right decisions?
Have you done due diligence…and this is not about asking your friends for their opinion.
After selling your products to family and friends, how can your business idea become commercially viable?
What pricing and evaluation models can work for your business?

As you go along in your business, it is foolish to not understand the numbers.

Invest in yourself.

There is nothing wrong with not knowing, but you have to have the courage to ask someone to teach you.

Go to Business School.

If you can’t afford it, attend business workshops and trainings.

You might think you are smart, but really, what do you know?

We are all smart, but we don’t know everything.

If you think about how many different topics exist, you will realize that you don’t know a lot.

I’m always in school, I spend what people use to buy houses to go to school.

If everybody is deceiving you, do not deceive yourself, nobody knows where you are going but you. You owe it to yourself to invest in yourself.

After you invest in yourself, the knowledge is yours, and you will find yourself in places you don’t feel you are qualified for.

What am I doing on the board of a bank? I am a Carpenter. My first degree was in Chemistry.

It is your responsibility to empower yourself with information that can help you.

Be honest with yourself and identify what your gaps are.

Invest in yourself.

This is what will separate you from the crowd.

Another thing you should note, is that it is important to treat people right.

This is how I have gone so far without bribery. I treat people with kindness, such that they do things for me out of love instead of “a cut”.

Everybody from the gateman, to the house keeper, to the driver, to the secretary to the oga…everybody.

It is the gateman you are nice to, that will open the gate for you and find parking for you when you are late to a meeting.

It is because I have help at home, that is why I can be here today.

I have delegated some responsibilities, and hence I can have time to focus on what I know how to do best.

If I did not delegate these tasks to other people, and if I did not treat the people who were helping me out well, I would have to do everything by myself.

Human beings in your life are very valuable.

By yourself, you are limited.

Everybody doing something in your life is valuable.

You lose when you think that you are the most important person in the room.

The way you make people feel affects the extent to how they can help you achieve your potential.

Love people.

Show care for people

Be kind to people.

If you work with artisans (tailors, carpenters, etc), Be kind but firm.

Be firm, but just.

Don’t become a fool, be firm but nice.

When you are fair, people will fight for you the day you make a hard decision.

I have fired a whole factory before. I was younger than my staff and I was equally pregnant. They decided not to show up at work on one day and we had a deadline.

I found other carpenters to complete the work during the weekend and by the time they showed on Monday, their sack letters were waiting at the gate.

Do not let anyone despise you because of your age and gender.

Keep your word

If you give your word to your customer, keep it.

 Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has revealed some shocking details about her life. Speaking today in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria after making an appearance at a seminar to end violence against children, the Nollywood veteran revealed how she was sexually molested at a young age by a family friend who went on to impregnate her.

There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in 2 years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. It is not common to find an elephant by the side of the road knocked down by a car or as pets in any kind off a person's house.
So what I'm carrying is mighty and great.

This is relevant to the life style of today. People are measured through material possessions.
Even we believers lose faith when we don't receive answers to prayers or prophecies immediately.
Listen! Don't be envious of others testimony or be sad because yours hasn't come or it's taking too long. Know who you are in God.
Understand that the Greater blessing is not the same as an instant blessing.

Don't despair, complain or murmur!
Say to yourself "My Time is Coming"

My blessings are being processed, prepared, packaged and wrapped up in God's glory. When it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration.

I went to Genesis hotel through Exodus road. On the way, I saw Leviticus recording the Numbers of people at Deuteronomy, while Joshua was waiting at the Beautiful gate for Judges, he saw Ruth calling loudly "Samuel, Samuel". At the same time, the first and second Kings of Chronicles were coming to visit Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther for the misfortune of Job their brother. They started singing Psalms and teaching children Proverbs concerning the people of Ecclesiates and also taught the children how to sing Songs of Solomon. This coincided with the period that Isaiah was engaged in Jeremiah's Lamentations together with Ezekiel and Daniel their friends. By that time, Amos and Obadiah were not around. Three days later, Hosea, Joel and Jonah travelled in the same ship with Micah and Nahum to Jerusalem. Meanwhile, Habakkuk had visited Zephaniah who introduced him to Haggai a friend of Zechariah whose cousin is Malachi. Immediately after the tradition was observed, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John got involved in Acts that pleased the Romans who were behaving like the 1st Corinthians group because the 2nd Corithians group were always at loggerheads with the Galatians. At that time too they realized that the Ephesians and Philippians were close to the Colossians, that made them to suggest the first Thessalonians visit and that on their second Thessalonians visit they should first of all see the first and second of Timothy brothers who had gone to the house of Titus to teach Philemon his younger brother how to read and write in Hebrew. Money and Finances

I well remember the day. That moment in my marriage when I just couldn't take the financial stress anymore.

My husband, Jesse, and I had been married for about four years. We had a toddler and a newborn. Jesse had recently graduated from law school, and I was struggling with postpartum depression at the same time I was running a fledgling online business.

The wonderful starting job we thought my husband was going to have for at least a few years after law school ended up not panning out. Instead, we were left with job leads that seemed to be going nowhere, a bank account balance that was dwindling quickly, seemingly endless bills to pay and a whole lot of stress.

We'd get up each morning and simply try to make it through the day. I would care for our girls, stretch our budget as far as I could and look for creative ways to make my online business turn more than a part-time profit. Jesse would look for new job leads, follow up on old job leads, make telephone calls, send his résumé to any place he thought might be a possibility for employment.

Jesse finally got to the place where he started applying for any and every job he heard of — including with a company that was hiring staff to distribute telephone books.

I'll never forget the day he got the news that all the openings for phone book distributors had been filled. It felt like a punch in the gut! Jesse was a licensed attorney who had gone to school for more than seven years . . . and he couldn't even get a job making door-to-door deliveries!

And that was the day when, out of stress and frustration, I blamed my husband for not being able to get a job. I was so tired of having to live on a beans-and-rice budget. I was so tired of wondering how we were going to pay our bills. I lashed out at Jesse. I yelled at him — even threatened to leave him.

It was the last thing my husband needed from me, but as I've seen in our marriage and in so many other marriages, finances can cause enormous amounts of stress for a couple. Financial struggles can be the impetus for miscommunication, distrust, fighting and even divorce. But it doesn't have to be this way. Couples can take proactive steps to significantly reduce their financial stress and to enjoy greater harmony in their marriage.

If finances are currently a source of stress in your marriage or if you and your spouse are simply looking for ways to be on the same financial page, here are six strategies I've learned since that rocky time in my marriage. These basics have helped me to live with much less financial stress so Jesse and I can experience married life with much more joy.

Get and stay on the same team.

To win in life and finances, you've got to be on the same team with your spouse. When it comes to finances, you have to ditch the me-versus-you mentality. Drop the "his money" and "her money" phrases and replace them with "our money." If you want to enjoy financial unity, you'll need to follow a game plan that you come up withtogether.

Before you start creating any kind of financial plan together, both of you should sit down and discuss your shared vision for life. Answer this question: What are your hopes and dreams for your future — as individuals and as a couple? Write your answers separately and then discuss them.

Set financial goals together.

I'm a firm believer in setting goals because it has the power to change the trajectory of life. So once you've discussed your vision for the future, it's time to start talking about the specific goals you can set to help accomplish your dreams.

Break down your goals into manageable chunks that are realistic and trackable. Don't just agree that you want to do a better job saving money; agree on a specific goal with a specific time frame. Consider something as precise as, "We want to save $500 during the next two months." This kind of goal will help you as a couple by providing purpose, momentum and accountability.

As you're working with your husband or wife to determine what financial goal you can reasonably set, consider where you want to be financially a year from now. What about five years from now? Are you aiming to get out of debt or save for a particular life season, item or vacation? Do you have an emergency fund in place?

Brainstorm these questions together. Remember: The key to success in minimizing stress and accomplishing your goals is to set the goals together. Work as a team.

Create a written budget that works.

Once you have a shared financial vision and have set goals as a team, move on to create a budget that will work. If you want your budget to be successful, it will need to be one that you bothagree on and can commit to.

When you sit down together to discuss your budget, come to the meeting with an open mind. It's never productive for a husband or wife to have everything already mapped out and then show up to the conversation with the intent of badgering his or her spouse into signing off on the plan.

Start the conversation with your spouse by answering the following questions: What is our combined monthly income? What is our total monthly spending? Are there areas we can cut to pay down debt more quickly? Are there areas in which we can save more money? After the bills have been paid each month and our debt has been conquered, where does our extra income need to go?

Discuss the ins and outs of the family budget. Honestly evaluate the lifestyle implications of your new financial plan, clarifying the choices and sacrifices you're each willing to make to accomplish your goals. To set up your family for financial success, you'll need to work out the nitty-gritty details, express your concerns and articulate your hesitations right from the start.

Be sure your budget is written down and stored in a safe place. Writing your budget gives you accountability and helps to maintain the spending limits you have agreed to set for yourselves. If you don't write it down, you will be unlikely to stick to the budget you discussed.

You might consider using an app such as Mvelopes to help you track and stick with your budget. Also, keep in mind that you will probably need to tweak your budget fairly significantly during the first few months of implementation as you figure out what works best. A good budget is one that will serve you and not become a master to strangle you.

Communicate openly and honestly.

If you don't communicate with your spouse, your shared vision and financial goals will ultimately fail. It's important that you check in with each other regularly.

I heartily encourage couples to have monthly budget accountability meetings. During these meetings you can honestly discuss your financial situation, revise the written budget, talk about financial issues that may have arisen, and review your overall goals and objectives.

These meetings must be a mutual discussion between a husband and wife. The conversation needs to be a give-and-take debate in which one spouse is not forcing his or her opinion upon the other. Come to these meetings with a spirit of honesty, transparency and forgiveness. If you are not honest with your husband or wife about your concerns, this could lead to bitterness toward your spouse when the financial plan does not turn out as you had originally hoped.

Change your attitude.

When you change your attitude, you can change your life. This is true because your attitude affects every area of your life.

A can-do, committed, cheerful attitude will always take you further than a complaining, defeatist attitude.

If you have the attitude that your financial plan or goals will fail, then they most likely will. If you have an attitude of motivation and dedication, there's no limit to how far you can go when you work together to accomplish your goals and financial plans.

Your attitude toward your spouse plays a huge role, too. If you have a spirit of forgiveness toward your husband or wife, it is much more likely you'll have unity in your marriage and finances. When you extend grace to your spouse in times of difficulty or frustration, the unity you experience will propel you forward to continue being wise stewards of your money.

Learn to compromise.

When it comes to marriage, especially in regard to your finances, compromise can be your best friend. You and your spouse are probably very different people — after all, opposites do attract — so it's important that you learn to appreciate each other's strengths and discuss each other's differences.

You will never agree on everything, and because of this, compromise is absolutely essential. A strong and healthy relationship requires give and take, with both parties willingly giving up what he or she wants for the other's good. Compromisemeans finding a solution that works for both of you.

One common hurdle I see couples face is the spender-saver dilemma. One person in the relationship is the spender who enjoys spending money and buying things, while the other person is the saver who wants to pinch pennies and never spend a dime.

This is the case in my marriage. But my husband and I have found a beautiful compromise for this dilemma — we have established an agreed-upon "blow category" as a line item in our budget. We each get an allotted amount of money that we can spend on whatever we'd like, whenever we'd like. My husband (the natural spender) has the freedom to spend some money each month, and I (the natural saver) have the assurance that the money is accounted for within the confines of our budget. This arrangement has worked well for us, and I'm certain it has prevented many unnecessary arguments over money.

Both a healthy marriage and savvy money management will require teamwork, planning and dedication. If you put these six strategies into practice, you just might see encouraging results in your marriage as well as in your finances. When you get on the same team financially, you will create a sense of peace in your marriage and in many other areas. This in turn will equip you to enjoy life together, experience a closer relationship and be happier as a couple.
