When you get a salary increase or your business booms. Increase your standard of saving, not your standard of living.

Money is to be used, not loved. Don't make money your honey. Your honey is your husband or wife. Love people not money.

Don't spend money on impulse. Stick to your budget. Anybody who lives by impulse rather than principle can't be great.
Lending money to friends is the easiest way to destroy relationships. Rather than lending, give them money you can afford.
