As a group, why do we need vision?‎

1. It keeps us on track.
A life without vision will be totally out of track. You follow any thing that goes. Hmmmm.... God have mercy.‎

2. Vision keeps us focused.

Matthew 6:22 KJV
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

This is the power of focus. Vision keeps us focused.
3. Vision gives us a sense of direction in life.

Philippians 3:14 KJV
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Apostle Paul didn't press away from the mark. He pressed towards the mark. Where ever the mark was, that was where he moved towards. Hallelujah.

4. Vision determines your speed in life.‎

Your pace in life is determined by your vision in life. You can't be faster than your vision in life.

Lack of vision retards your speed.
5. Vision determines the size of your possession.
‎
You can't have more than what you see.

Gen13.15.NLT
" I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession."

As far as your eyes can see, is not a function of what your physical eyes can see but what your eyes of Faith can see.

If you can see it by faith, you can seize it.
6. Vision drives our provision.

A vision less man will squander any resources passed across to him.

The problem we have today in Nigeria is not lack of leaders but lack of visionary leaders. The best they think of is stomach first. God have mercy.

7. Vision helps us stay disciplined.
