The Federal Government has dragged the NLC, TUC and their affiliates before the National Industrial Court seeking to stop the looming strike threatened by the Labour group over the fuel pump price increment.
 

The President of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Justice Babatunde Adejumo, has this morning restrained the NLC, TUC and their affiliates from embarking on any nationwide strike action.

The labour unions had threatened to embark on a nationwide indefinite strike action over the fuel pump price increment by the Federal Government.
The motion experte was argued by the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami SAN, before Justice Babatunde Adejumo, the President of the NICN.

The order is however to last for 7 days.
